Our introductory workshop will give the confidence and skills to set up your sewing machine, master basic stitches and create a simple cushion cover.  We will also cover fabric understanding & preparation. It is great for complete novices or thoses of you who want a kick start back into sewing with your sewing machine.

If you know some sewing basics but want to learn more then we are at  hand to help!  In this class you will learn how to attach different machine feet, make buttonholes, insert a zip, discover how to machine appliqué and then create a small project.

Create a sample roman blind in our one day workshop and learn the skills needed to create your own blinds at home including mearsuring up, stitching pockets and adding the cord mechanism.

Ever fancied learning how to set up and use a sewing machine?This practical men only morning workshop is an ideal opportunity for you to learn to do just that. You are welcome to bring in the family sewing machine to work on or borrow one of ours. In addition to understanding a sewing machine you will learn some useful hand stitches and repair skills like sewing on buttons and taking up trousers.

All materials provided, but feel free to bring some of your own items in need of repair to practice on. Please advise at booking if you are bringing your own machine.
