January
5-week course starting Tues 12 Jan 7pm-9pm

Delve into the magical world of sewing, dust off your sewing machine and come and learn to a range of techniques including basic stitches, seams, applique, fastenings and more. Not only aimed at novices but anyone who has lost sewing confidence and is looking for a kick-start and wishes to get to rekindle their relationship with their sewing machine. (please note a limited number of machine will be available for use though we encourage students to bring their own).

Westy Sew-and-Sews
5-week course starting Tues 23 Feb 7pm-9pm

Little Sew-and-Sews
5-week course for 8-11yr olds starting Tues 23 Feb 4:30pm-6pm
£30 WEC £24
Work through a series of mini projects and find out how sewing can be a fun and rewarding hobby! During this five-week course, Alice Butcher and Ginny Farquhar will work with young sewing enthusiasts and share with them the basics of sewing.

Monthly Make: Valentines Special, Made with Love
Price includes all materials and a glass of wine or a soft drink.
Mon 1 Feb 7-9pm Bar Area ~ £10 per person ~ adults
Using wool and felt create a small, scented cushion with a tiny pocket for a secret love letter. Decorate with printed words, stencilled hearts, embroidery and blanket stitch.

Hearts for Your Valentine! - Family Saturday
For children age 3 years to teens and accompanying adults of any age
Create fun and decorative hearts for the love(s) of your life using a mixture of materials and techniques. If you're feeling really creative you could turn your work into a fun mobile.

Forever Young Pre-show Workshop: Little Red Riding Hood For children age 3 years to teens and accompanying adults of any age
Come and create your very own interactive picture, inspired by a scene from Little Red Riding Hood. This workshop will set the tone for the show that follows and is certainly not one to be missed.

Hippy Bag ~ Easter Boredom Busters
Wed 14 Apr, 10.30am-4.30pm ~ 12-16yrs £20 (£16 concs)
Design and create a small, embellished bag. Working with textile artists Alice Butcher and Ginny Farquhar, the day will include design, fabric selection, bag construction, applique, embroidery and embellishing.

Clothes Re-fashioning ~ Easter Boredom Busters
Fri 16 Apr, 10.30am-4.30pm ~ 12-16yrs £20 (£16 concs)
Have fun learning how to turn old clothes into fantastic new outfits using a variety of quick and easy techniques. You bring the clothes and we will help you re-fashion them into something fresh and new. All other materials, trims and embellishments will be provided.

Mon 19 Apr 7-9pm ~ £10~ adults
Learn how to make simple but effective beads from paper and felt and combine them with buttons and other beads to create a necklace or bracelet.
